Welcome to M. K. Gandhi school

The school established in 1964 as Gujarat’s first Municipal English Medium School and currently headed by District Education Department. The school has been renamed as M. K. Gandhi English Medium School in 2020.

After reconstruction, the school has shaped as a brand new institution and gain the largest strength of students in Porbandar District by giving all the necessary facilities to the students with high standards. We strongly believe that an institution cannot be succeeded without the success of the students. We always strive to get the best out of the students while engaging them with the studious subjects as well as with various co-curricular activities.

Not only with education, we gently encourage our students to be more compassionate, responsible, ethical and esteemed individual through various activities like leadership task, Police training and community service.

Facilities

MKG is equipped with 27 fully ventilated classrooms including Maths & Science Lab, 2 Computer labs, Language lab, Library and 2 special rooms for little champs. Among these, 18 classrooms are furnished with Interactive Smart TV. The school has proper washroom facility at each floor for both boys and girls. There’s a stage at school to perform the functions.
